UMass For The Kids is the largest student-run philanthropy at UMass Amherst, full of students who are dedicated to being part of something so much larger than themselves. Every year, almost two thousands students join together with one goal in mind, helping the kids at Baystate Children’s Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts. UMass FTK raises money and awareness for Baystate through our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network.
Every spring, UMass FTK holds our 12-hour dance marathon celebrating our year-long efforts of fundraising. Last year, our organization raised $282,123.76 for the hospital, which was $70,000 more than what we raised in 2018. All donations go toward the technology and up-keeping of the hospital.
We are officially the largest donor for the hospital and over the past 5 years, our organization has raised over $770,000 for Baystate. Our annual Dance Marathon will take place on April 18th, 2020 in the Mullins Center, our hockey and basketball arena. As the years pass by, our organization is growing bigger and stronger, and we can’t wait for the years to come. #FTK365
